Do you listen to music?

When you have time, listen to the song “Build My Life”, sung by Housefire.

One of the Bible verses the song is based on is 1 Corinthians, chapter 3,  verse 11. It tells us “And no-one can ever lay any other real foundation than that one we already have – Jesus Christ”

Jesus is the only foundation that we can build our lives on. A life built on Jesus is a life with a sure foundation. The words in the song say we should build our lives upon His love and put our trust in Him so as not to be shaken by the storms of life.

We should be thankful for the life that God has given us and as the lyrics remind us Jesus is worthy of all the praise we can ever give.

When we join in our time together on November 19th, and the meetings in the coming months, we pray that we can all learn through our time together and our worship together, to build on the foundation of our faith in Jesus, that our eyes will be opened and see who He truly is and that we will be encouraged to place Jesus Christ more at the centre of everything and reflect His love in the way we live.
