Breathe in, breathe out

As we start our prayers, I want us to sit quietly together.
I want you to breathe in, then breathe out, being conscious of your breathing.
Breathe in, then breathe out; remember to breathe at your own pace.

Breathe in, breathe out.
Lord, still all the things rattling around in our heads – our thoughts and feelings, our insecurities and
fears. As we breathe in your love, may we breathe out our praise to you only.
It’s your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise.
It’s your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise and thanks to you only.
The Bible tells us
You knew me when I was in my mother’s womb
You know me inside out
You know every bone in my body
All the stages of my life are spread out before you.

Praise the Lord.
No-one, not one person is unloved by God. We were all made perfect as he wanted us to be.
However worthless and unloved or unwanted you feel, or how hopeless things feel right now,
breathe; breathe.
And know you are loved by the most amazing heavenly Father. You are loved equally and totally
whatever race, creed or colour, what you’ve done or left undone. What you’ve said or left unsaid.
You are valued, priceless and of great worth to our loving Father. Thank you, Lord.

No matter what, don’t ever stop breathing in God’s grace to you, child of God!
Breathe in His love, as a child of God – breathe out His praise.
Breathe in His peace as a child of God – breathe out peace and love to others.
Breathe in, child of God – Breathe out, child of God. Breathe out praise and thanks to your loving
Heavenly Father. Just Breathe!

Amen

You gave us life, you are love, you are hope.
Oh, that one day all the earth will shout your praise!
May these very bones of ours, yours and mine, shout aloud “Great are you, Lord!”
